Axis of Evil

The term ‘Axis of Evil’ was a term first coined by George Bush in his State of the Union address in early 2002. He took aim at the enemies of the west, identifying three countries at the time, Iraq, Iran and North Korea as the biggest threat to world peace and democracy. Since then, our enemies have slowly evolved, now we face the threat of the new axis of evil – Russia, Iran and North Korea – with Russia the new substitute in this trio of evil. We are going to take a look at these economies and understand their economic, social and political make-up and peel the curtain back to see what is going on behind perceived enemy lines…
